Nepal to play friendly against India

May 17, 2017 - The Nepal National men’s team will be playing an international friendly against India National team in Mumbai on June 6.

The All India Football Federation approached the ANFA for the friendly. The friendly will be benefitting both the teams as they are preparing for the second matches of the AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifiers.

Nepal is taking on Yemen at home on June 13 at the APF Halchowk Stadium.

Nepal head coach Gyotoki Koji has already begun preparations for the match against Yemen since the last two weeks. He has called on 32 players in the training, out of which Rabin Shrestha, Rohit Chand and Kiran Kumar Limbu have not been able to attend.

Rabin had gone under the knife for an knee injury, while Kiran and Rohit are abroad.
