Nepal's squad for the tour of Japan

August 1, 2017 - The final squad that will travel to Japan on August 11 was announced by Nepal national team head coach Gyotoku Koji in ANFA Complex on Tuesday.

The squad consists of 24 players, retaining most of the players that were part of the Yemen clash in the AFC Asian Qualifier 2019 that was held on June in Kathmandu.

The Japan tour will be a part of preparations for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2019 qualifier against Tajikistan on September 5.

Nepal will play five matches in Japan against local clubs and universities, taking on Gamba Osaka U-23 on August 13.

Nepal will play against Kwansei Gakuin University on August 16, Amitie Sports Culb on August 17, Hanan University on August 18 and Vissel Kobe U-18 Team on August 19.

During the 10-day long stay, team Nepal will also watch one J-League match.

The tour is managed and supported by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Japan Football Association (JFA).
