'A' Division League from Mangshir 14

Aug. 16, 2017 - The All Nepal Football Association's Executive meeting chaired by President Narendra Shrestha on Wednesday has decided to organize the A Division League from Mangshir 14 (November 30, 2017).

The meeting also took decision to provide compensation for Three Star Club who had been deprived to compete in the AFC Asian Club Championship playoff owing to miscommunication by ANFA with AFC.

In this regard, a committee headed by ANFA Senior Vice President Mani Kunwar and comprising of Ex. Co members Ganesh Bahadur Chand and Dinesh Byanjankar has been formed to investigate the matter and furnish a report to the President in 10 days.

The meeting came to a conclusion to give the committee the responsibility to manage resources to pay the compensation by meeting all legal prerequisite and put the matter before the Ex.Co meeting to endorse it by the Extraordinary Congress.

The meeting decided to seek approval from the AFC to hold the ANFA election on January 7, 2018 and the Extraordinary Congress on October 9, 2017.

Matters relating to the upcoming AFC U-16 Championship 2018Qualifiers (Group D) scheduled to be held in Nepal from September 20-24 was discussed in brief. The association will need to manage an estimated budget of Rs. 85,51,600 (Eighty five Lakh, Fifty one thousand and six hundred) from its own resources.

Expenses occurred in Nepal's matches in the AFC Asian Cup 2019 Qualifiers and expenses for the Nepal's upcoming matches in the qualifiers were discussed and approved.

Likewise, the preparation cost for Nepal's participation in the SAFF U-18 Championship in Bhutan and AFC U-19 Championship 2018 Qualifiers to be held in Kyrgyzstan was estimated at Rs. 26,89,000 (Twenty six lakhs, eighty nine thousand). Expenses needed for the ANFA Futsal League and Nepal's participation in the AFC Futsal Championship to be held in IR Iran were discussed and approved.

Another two decisions taken were to construct three mini pitches (one each) in Kathmandu, Nawalparasi and Makwanpur under AFC's Development Program and participate in the AFC U-15 Girls' Championship in Bangladesh.
