Martyr's Memorial 'C' Division League to be held from March 14

All Nepal Football Association has decided to hold the 2076 season's Martyr's Memorial 'C' Division League from March 14 next year.

A meeting with representatives of the 'C' division clubs at ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Thursday took the decision to this effect.

ANFA has also decided to increase preparation money for clubs participating in the league. Following the decision, clubs will now receive an amount of NRs 900,000, an increase by NRs 200,000, as preparation money.

The meeting also decided to continue with the point deduction system.

A briefing on health and training protocols was done during the meeting with the representatives.

AFNA President Karma Tsering Sherpa, General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar, League Committee Coordinator Bigyan Raj Sharma, among other ANFA officials were present in the meeting.

ANFA on Wednesday had decided to hold the remaining games of Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League from February 23.

ANFA discusses with clubs over resuming 'B' Division League from February 23

All Nepal Football Association on Wednesday discussed about resuming the halted Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League from February 23 next year.

The league was halted from March 18, 2020, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Representatives of 'B' division clubs present in the meeting were positive about resuming the league. The two sides discussed about the financial aspects and following health protocols during the league.

ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa and General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar answered to queries put forth by the clubs over the issues.

The two sides have agreed to sit for further talks regarding the resumption of the league.

ANFA Vice President Upendra Man Singh, Treasurer Rabindra Joshi, League Committee Coordinator Bigyan Raj Sharma, Competition Director Sanjeeb Mishra and other ANFA officials were also present during the meeting. The meeting was also briefed about health and training protocols as per the FIFA and AFC guidelines.

TAC registers as Tribhuvan Army Football Club, receives AFC club license

Tribhuvan Army Football Club (TAFC) has been granted the AFC Club License after meeting the requirements of the AFC Club Licensing Regulations 2020.

The club will now go with the name of Tribhuvan Army Football Club.

The Appeal Body on Tuesday took the decision for Tribhuvan Army Football Club after the club lodged an appeal against the decision of First Instant Body (FIB). The FIB on November 30 had rejected applications of all the 13 'A' division clubs for the AFC Licensing process.

Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) had amended their statute and transformed into a professional football club following AFC regulations guidelines.

First phase of ANFA 'B' Licence Course begins

The first of the three phase of All Nepal Football Association 'B' Licence Course has started from Sunday.

Twenty-nine participants took part in the virtual course conducted by ANFA Technical Director Gary Philipps. The course will conclude on Tuesday. 

ANFA Vice President Upendra Man Singh chaired the course. Four technical departments--Women's, Youth, Grassroot and Coach Education--assisted Technical Director Gary Philipps during the course.
