National Futsal League matches to be shown live on Kantipur Television

Turnpike Event and Kantipur Television have signed a broadcasting agreement for the National Futsal League tournament which is going to be held at the multipurpose hall in Pokhara on May this year.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the two parties at ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Wednesday.

As per the agreement, all the matches will be shown live by Kantipur Television. The matches will also be shown live by Kantipur's digital platforms Ekantipur.com and their Youtube channel.

Speaking at the programme, ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa hoped the game will reach new heights after signing the broadcasting partnership with Kantipur Television.

Kantipur Television Marketing Director Suraj Singh Thakuri said they would leave no stone unturned to make the event a grand success.

ANFA's Futsal Committee Chairperson Ratna Kumar Shrestha and Ukesh Lohani and Prasun Shrestha of Turnpike Event were also present in the programme.

ANFA 'B' Licence Course concludes

The All Nepal Football Association 'B' Licence Course has concluded on Sunday.

The course was conducted over three phases. The first two phases were conducted online while the final phase was conducted physically at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

ANFA Technical Director Gary Phillips conducted the course.

Revitalized Madhyapur win second match in a row, Bansbari edge Pulchok

Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) moved to ninth place on the table with a 2-1 victory over Shree Kumari Club (SKC) in the Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League on Tuesday.

MYA came from behind to defeat SKC and register their second consecutive victory in the league.

SKC's Ashish Rai opened the scoring in the 40th minute. But the lead lasted only for five minutes as MYA struck just before half-time through Kailash Lamichhane Khatri's perfectly timed header. Three minutes after the break, MYA's skipper Dhiraj Shrestha made it 2-1 for MYA.

SKC had few chances to level the score but were kept out by MYA's stopper Akash Rana Bhat.

In the second match of the day, Nisan Sunar scored both the goals as Around the Himalaya Bansbari Club (BC) won 2-0 against bottom-placed Pulchok Sports Club (PSC).

Sunar scored both the goals in second half in the win. His first goal came in the 48th minute and added another in the 69th minute.

BC remain in third position after the win with 18 points from eight matches. PSC have two points from eight matches.

RCT defeat Tusal, Satdobato pull three points clear

Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) defeated Tusal Youth Club (TYC) 1-0 in the Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League with Ajit Gurung scoring the only goal.

After putting relentless pressure against TYC in the first half, RCT finally opened the scoring through Gurung in the 73rd minute. TYC also had their chances but were not able to find the equalizer.

In the second game, Satdobato Youth Club (SYC) won 1-0 against Shree Bhagwati Club (SBC) to open three points lead over Khumaltar Youth Club (KYC). SYC scored through a penalty awarded after a handball by Laxman GC. A shot by Dinesh Rai had struck GC's hand and Dorge Tamang converted from the spot.

The win means unbeaten SYC have 22 points from eight matches, a three point lead over second-placed KYC. SBC lie ninth with six points from eight matches.
