The AFC President’s Infrastructure Initiative

The AFC President’s Infrastructure Initiative was established to assist the AFC Member Associations in their overall development of football by introducing infrastructure that will allow them to increase, upgrade and expand the football facilities in their respective countries.

The AFC President’s Infrastructure Initiative aims at providing financial support to the AFC Member Associations to enable them to improve their football infrastructure, either through establishment of new infrastructure facilities or renovation and upgradation of the existing infrastructure facilities in the country.

The All Nepal Football Association is one of the beneficiaries of the initiative. Under this initiative, the association availed two electric vehicles for administrative purposes. One vehicle has been extensively used by the Nepal National Team head coach Joan Kalin, while the other is used by general administration.

AFC PRESIDENT’S TECHNICAL STAFF INITIATIVE

The AFC President's Technical Staff Initiative is a fund to support AFC Financial Assistance Programme beneficiary Member Associations with hiring qualified technical expertise in the key areas of technical development. An annual contribution is available to fund the following positions:

Through this fund the association has been availing the services of Technical Director, Head of Coach, Head Elite Youth Program, Head of Women's Football and Grassroots Manager.

In addition, the association is the only member association in the AFC to divide the fund to hire each of the technical experts (Head of Coach, Head Elite Youth Program, Head of Women's Football and Grassroots Manager) in the seven provinces. The association has altogether 32 staff working under different roles from the funds availed through this initiative.

UEFA Assist

UEFA Assist is an international programme that addresses the needs of national associations and confederations outside Europe.

UEFA Assist is composed of four pillars, each providing specific support to member associations and confederations worldwide:

•  Capacity building (operations and football)

•  Development of youth football

•  Infrastructure

•  UEFA member association support

The All Nepal Football Association has availed a grassroots van in 2019. The grassroots van shall be used to conduct mobile coaching clinics in the participating district football associations and transportation service to match officials in province 3 which has the highest number of participating schools.
