Committee on APF's football academy convenes first meeting

The committee formed after signing a memorandum of understanding between All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and Armed Police Force (APF) held its first meeting on Friday.

The meeting decided to upgrade the standard of the football ground of APF School in Kirtipur after coordinating with ANFA. The meeting also formed a three-member Technical Committee coordinated by ANFA's Head of Elite Youth Nabin Maharjan to select players of the school in Kirtipur for the academy.

ANFA Vice President Upendra Man Singh and ANFA Assistant General Secretary Arun Man Joshi, APF Nepal UN Peace Keeping Training School, Kakani, Chairperson SP Bhesh Bahadur Shah, among other senior APF officials, were also present in the meeting.

ANFA and APF have signed a six-year agreement to establish Nepal APF School Football Academy in December.
