Friends out of relegation zone after thrashing Sherpa

Friends Club defeated Himalayan Sherpa Club 6-0 to move out of the relegation zone of the Martyr's Memorial A Division League 2023 on Monday.

It was a complete dominance from Friends in the match at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

Rafiq Aminu opened the scoring for them in the third minute and Akhrorbek Uktamov doubled it in the 32nd. Aminu found the net again in the 38th minute to give Friends a comfortable 3-0 lead until half-time.

Amit Tamang, in the 58th, Uttam Rai, in the 72nd, and Torric Jebrin in the fifth minute of added time completed the rout for Friends.

The second match of the day between Three Star Club and Church Boys United at Chyasal Stadium ended goalless.
