The AFC C Coaching Certificate Course, held from 21st to 27th May and 1st to 5th July came to a successful conclusion on 16th to 20th June. The course was organized by the Morang Football Association with technical support from All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).
This is the first time this course has been organized in Nepal.
ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang chaired the closing ceremony as the chief guest along with several distinguished guests including ANFA Ex-Co members Purushottam Thapa, Dipendra Dhimal.
ANFA President Nembang delivered an inspiring speech and highlighted the importance of coaching in nurturing young talent. The ceremony was also addressed by Pradeep Shah, Assistant Chief District Officer of Morang District, Rajan Adhikari, Head of Koshi Provinc Police Training Centre. Additionally, Deepak Rai, President of the Sunsari District Sports Committee, and Khadag Shrestha, Vice President of Koshi Province Football Association, Santosh Baniya, former Vice President of ANFA were also present.
During the program, the guests expressed their hopes and well wishes for the future of the participants of the coaching course.
The course was conducted in two phases and was led by Head of Coach Education Sanjeet Singh as the instructor, with assistance from ANFA Acting Technical Director Hari Khadka as the assistant instructor. According to the guidelines of AFC Coaching Convention, this course has been prepared and conducted by ANFA.
A total of 23 coaches participated in the course. ANFA plans to organize similar coaching courses across Nepal in the near future.
