Nepal won the friendly women's football series against Bangladesh after a 4-2 victory on penalties on Sunday.
Substitute goalkeeper Anjana Rana Magar saved two penalties as Nepal claimed the FIFA International Women's Football Series 2023 trophy.
After a goalless 90 minutes, Nepal's Sabitra Bhandari and Hira Kumari Bhujel scored the first two goals for Nepal. While Shamsunnahar scored, Magar saved the penalty from Shuli Azim.
Magar stepped up to take up the third penalty but hit the crossbar. Maria Manda's shot was also saved by Magar. Dipa Shahi and Monika Chakma scored each for Nepal and Bangladesh before Anita KC sealed the victory.
The victorious team will now return to Nepal on Monday.
