Gaurav Basnet appointed Head Coach of national futsal team, Bhusal Asst Coach

Gaurav Basnet has been appointed as the Head Coach of the national futsal team for the upcoming AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers 2024 in Mongolia.

Thamman Bhusal will takeover as the Assistant Coach for the competition.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai handed over the appointment letter to the two coaches on Monday.

Basnet was previously in charge of the national team in the 2022 AFC Futsal Asian Cup Qualifier in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Nepal have been grouped alongside Vietnam, South Korea and Mongolia in the Group D of AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 Qualifiers.

Nepal's matches will be played in Mongolia from October 7 to 11 this year.
