Final squad for WAFF Women's Championship announced

Nepal's final squad for the WAFF Women's Championship in Saudi Arabia has been announced.

Head coach Rajendra Tamang named his 23-member squad on Monday.

The Championship in Saudi Arabia will be held from February 19-29.

Nepal have been drawn alongside Palestine, Syria and Iraq in Group B of the competition. Hosts Saudi Arabia, Guam, Lebanon and Jordan are in Group A.

Nepal's journey kicks off with a clash against Syria on February 20, followed by a showdown with Iraq on the 22nd. The team will conclude the group stage with the third match against Palestine on February 24th.

The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals of the competition.

All the matches will be played at Hall Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City.
