Bagmati defeat Raniban, Pulchowk thump Mahabir

Bagmati Youth Club defeated Raniban Sports Club 3-1 in the Martyr's Memorial C Division League on Friday.

Dipesh Rai scored twice for Bagmati in the win. Rai scored his first in the 48th minute before doubling it in the 80th minute. Raniban pulled one back through Bisnu Chaudhary's penalty kick in the 82nd minute but Srijan Raj Gautam scored fourth minute in the added time to give Bagmati the 3-1 victory.

In the second match of the day, Pulchowk Sports Club defeated Mahabir Studies and Athletics Association 4-0. Shyrab Lo Tamang opened the scoring in the 17th minute to give Pulchowk the 1-0 lead in the first half.

Suman Shrestha doubled the team's advantage in the 65th before Sumit Mallah's third goal in the 77th minute. Shrestha scored his second in the two minutes from time to complete the comfortable victory.
