Bangladesh secured the SAFF U-20 Championship title with a stunning 4-1 win over Nepal on Wednesday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

The match saw Bangladesh dominate from start to finish. Mirajul Islam opened the scoring in the added minute of the first half, silencing the full-capacity crowd. The game, moved to ANFA Complex due to unfavorable pitch conditions at Dasharath Stadium, saw Bangladesh continue their impressive performance in the second half.

Islam scored again in the 55th minute, extending Bangladesh's lead to 2-0. Mohammed Rabby Hossen Rahul furthered the gap with a third goal in the 71st minute. Nepal briefly ignited hopes of a comeback when Samir Tamang scored, but those hopes were dashed when Mohammed Piash Ahmmed Nova netted a fourth goal for Bangladesh in stoppage time.

The prize presentation was attended by Minister for Youth and Sports Teju Lal Chaudhary, National Sports Council Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising, ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, and General Secretary Kiran Rai.

Bangladesh's Mirajul Islam was named Player of the Tournament, while goalkeeper Mohammad Asif received the Best Goalkeeper award. Nepal was honored with the Fair Play Team award.
