Defending champions APF Football Club hit Waling Municipality for nine in the ANFA Women’s League final round on Monday.
Rashmi Kumari Ghising was the star of the match, scoring four goals, including a hat-trick inside the first 17 minutes. She struck in the 3rd, 6th, and 17th minutes, setting the tone for APF’s dominance. Ghising later added one more in the 77th.
Gita Rana also shone, scoring twice, with her first goal in the 5th minute and a penalty conversion in the 42nd minute. Saru Limbu contributed a brace, finding the net in the 31st and 39th minutes. Anita KC completed the rout with a 90th-minute strike, sealing APF’s emphatic victory.
APF’s relentless attacking display overwhelmed Waling Municipality in the first half, leaving them with little chance to recover, despite a much-improved performance in the second half. However, the damage had already been done in the opening 45 minutes.
