Tribhuvan Army FC defeat NRT 6–1 in Red Bull ANFA Women’s Championship

Tribhuvan Army FC registered a convincing 6–1 victory over New Road Team (NRT) in the Red Bull ANFA Women’s Championship match played at Tharuhat Stadium.

New Road Team took the lead in the 34th minute through Kabita Gurung. However, Tribhuvan Army FC responded strongly as Dipa Rai equalized in first-half stoppage time (45+3).

Jenifer Rana then turned the match in Army’s favor with a hat-trick, scoring in the 56th, 59th and 72nd minutes. Sapana Lama added two more goals late in the match in the 81st and 90th minutes to complete the dominant win.

With the victory, Tribhuvan Army FC progressed to the semi-final where they will face Nepal Police Club.
