Tribhuvan Army, NRT secure wins; Manang, Planning share points

Tribhuvan Army FC and New Road Team recorded victories, while Manang Marsyangdi Club and Planning Boys United played out a goalless draw in Saturday’s National League fixtures at the Dasharath Stadium.

Tribhuvan Army FC defeated Nawa Jana Jagriti Yuwa Club 3–0. George Prince Karki converted a penalty in the 9th minute to give Army the lead, before Nawayug Shrestha (54’) and Kunsang Lama (75’) added further goals.

New Road Team overcame Chitlang FC 2–1. Rajiv Lopchan opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but an own goal by NRT’s Sanam Sodemba Limbu in the 37th minute leveled the match. Timothy Chiemerie Okereke scored the winner in the 54th minute to secure all three points.

Meanwhile, Manang Marsyangdi Club and Planning Boys United played out a 0–0 stalemate in a tightly contested encounter.
