Army edge Machhindra, Laligurans outlast Planning Boys

Tribhuvan Army FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Machhindra FC at Dasharath Stadium on Monday, coming from behind to take all three points. Nawayug Shrestha gave Army the lead in the 40th minute, but Machhindra hit back just before halftime through Jonathan Eduardo Cantillana Zorrilla in the 43rd minute. The deadlock didn't last long after the break, as Gillespye Jung Karki found the net in the 46th minute to restore Army's advantage, which they defended resolutely until the final whistle.

At the ANFA Complex, Laligurans Association outlasted Planning Boys United in a five-goal thriller, emerging 3-2 winners. Laligurans made a flying start with Raj Bhusal scoring in the 20th minute and Akoete Junior Donou doubling their lead just four minutes later. Planning Boys fought back in the second half as Roman Bhujel pulled one back in the 57th minute and Sahil KC leveled the scores in the 73rd minute. Just when it seemed both sides would share the points, Ashish Gurung popped up in the 83rd minute to snatch the winner for Laligurans.

The day's final match saw Satdobato Youth Club and Nepal Police Club play out a dramatic 2-2 draw. Satdobato dominated the first half through Arun Lama's strike in the 17th minute and Fode Fofana's goal in the 26th minute, taking a commanding two-goal lead into the break. Police showed tremendous character in the second half, with Dhirendra Bahadur Shaha pulling one back in the 75th minute. Deep into stoppage time, with the clock showing 90+9 minutes, Subash Tharu produced the equalizer to snatch a point for Police in the most dramatic fashion.
