Bikash Darlami Magar put Jawalakhel Youth Club ahead early in the second half, but Friends Club hit back to secure a 1-1 draw at the ANFA Complex on Wednesday. Magar found the net in the 47th minute, giving Jawalakhel the perfect start after the break. Friends responded positively and leveled the scores through Prashant Laksam in the 52nd minute, with both sides ultimately sharing the points after an entertaining contest.
At the same venue, Church Boys United delivered a dominant attacking display to thrash Sankata FC 5-2 in a goal-filled encounter. Rohan Karki opened the scoring in the 25th minute, and Sumit Shrestha doubled the lead right before halftime in the 45th minute. Milan Rai made it 3-0 in the 60th minute before Sankata fought back. Bibek Rai pulled one back in the 65th minute, and Richard Chukwudalu Onyema scored in the 73rd to make it 3-2, setting up a tense finish.
Church Boys regained control when Sumit Shrestha grabbed his second goal of the match in the 79th minute to restore a two-goal cushion. Sankata's hopes took a further blow when Bibek Magar turned the ball into his own net in the 80th minute, completing the scoring at 5-2 in favor of Church Boys United.
