Bharat Shah’s only goal proved the difference as Nepal Police Club defeated Brigade Boys Club 1-0 in ongoing Qatar Airways Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League at ANFA complex on Friday. NPC scored at the 29th minute with a goal by Bharat Shah. Shah scored an accurate header goal to a corner ball by Nir Kumar Rai. With the lead from NPC, BBC were keen to equalize with many shot attempts throughout the game. BBC showed a top class play in second half with great possession of ball and many shots on target. But the NPC goal keeper, Roshan Khadka, saved a lot of them not letting BBC equalize. Although BBC tried more than dozens of shots they could not score into the net. NPC’s Tej Tamang was given the Kelme Man of the Match award at the end of the match for his brilliant performance in the match.
