Rupandehi District Football Association holds ANFA referee course

Rupandehi District Football Association, with support from All Nepal Football Association, held the ANFA Referee Course 2019 in Butwal.

Twenty-two participants took part in the course held from February 18-24. The participants were from Bhairahawa, Nawalparasi, Palpa and Rupandehi districts.

Technical instructors Shree Ram Ranjitkar and Laba Khatri conducted the training with assistance from Rojen Shrestha.

Speaking at the opening session, Rupandehi District Football Association President Dirgha Bahadur KC said such courses will help produce more quality referees which would mostly benefit the tournaments held in the districts.

The closing session was held on February 24 and Mukesh Kunwar, Vice President of the district footballing body, addressed the session. Vice President Kunwar wished luck to the participants who passed the course in their refereeing profession.

Thirteen participants passed the course after fulfilling the criteria and completing the rigorous fitness test.
