3-day Refresher Course for Category 2 Referees kicks off at ANFA Complex

A three-day refresher course for Category 2 referees began from Sunday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. Organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the course aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of referees while updating them on the latest rules and practices in football officiating.

The program was inaugurated by ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai, who emphasized the critical role referees play in maintaining the integrity and fairness of the game. "This course is a valuable opportunity for our referees to refine their decision-making skills, understand new regulations, and uphold the high standards of professionalism expected in modern football," Rai said during the opening ceremony.

The course features a mix of theoretical sessions reviewing the Laws of the Game, practical drills to enhance positioning and fitness, and scenario analysis for improving judgment under pressure. Conducted by experienced instructors, including senior referees and ANFA officials, the program is designed to equip referees with the tools needed to officiate matches effectively and confidently.
