Koshi tops table with win over Karnali; Police labor to victory over Bagmati

Koshi Province climbed to the top of the points table with their third win in the ANFA Women's League 2081 on Sunday.

Koshi triumphed 4-0 over Karnali Province in the opening match at ANFA Complex.

Purnima Rai scored twice, while Samiksha Magar and Pratiksha Rai each added a goal.

In the day's second match, Nepal Police Club endured a tough battle but eventually secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bagmati Youth Club. Nirmala Upadhyaya scored the decisive goal for Police.

APF draw first blood against Tribhuvan Army

APF FC defeated Tribhuvan Army FC 2-1 in the ANFA Women's League 2081 match on Saturday.

In the day's only match at ANFA Complex, APF twice lead the match to seal the victory.

Sabita Rana Magar gave APF the lead in the added minutes of the first half before Bimala Chaudhary leveled for Army in the 57th minute.

The decisive moment came when Army was awarded a penalty, which Gita Rana converted with composure to clinch the victory for APF FC.

Sankata share points with Chandrapur, Police thump Sudurpaschim

Sankata FC and Chandrapur Municipality played a goalless draw in the ANFA Women's League 2081 on Friday.

The match at ANFA Complex was largely uneventful.

Nepal Police Club hit nine past Sudurpaschim Province in the second match of the day.

Deepa Neupane and Niru Thapa both scored hat-tricks in the thrashing of Sudurpaschim.

Puja Rana, Ghim Kumari Gurung and Anuska Sherpa scored the other three goals for Police.

AFC C Diploma Coaching Course kicks off in Sanogauchan

The AFC C Diploma Coaching Course (1st phase) commenced on Tuesday in Sanogauchan, Kathmandu. The course is organized by the Kathmandu District Football Association with the support of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

During the opening ceremony, ANFA Vice President Birat Jung Shahi delivered a speech, and several distinguished guests, including members of the Kathmandu District Football Association, were in attendance.

The course is being led by ANFA Technical Direcotor Hari Khadka, Head of Coach Education Sanjeet Singh, and instructor Chet Narayan Shrestha. A total of 24 coaches from various districts are participating in this phase of the course.
