All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has bid farewell to the national men's squad travelling to UAE for the second round of World Cup Qualifiers match against UAE.
Chief Guest and Member Secretary at National Sports Council (NSC) Tanka Lal Ghising, ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Vice Presidents Deepak Khatiwada and Dawa Lama and Ex-Co member and coordinator of national team Manish Joshi bid the team at ANFA Complex on Friday.

Nepal will play against UAE on Thursday. The team will fly for the match on Sunday.

Nepal squad for the World Cup Qualifiers match against UAE has been announced.
Head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese announced his final squad for the second round match of the Qualifiers on Friday.
Nepal will play against UAE on Thursday. The team will fly for the match on Sunday.

The ANFA Extraordinary Congress in Hetauda has rejected the no-confidence motion against ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang.
Fifty-three votes were cast of the total 87 in the election at Royal Party Palace in Hetauda. While one vote was invalid, all other 52 votes voted against the no-confidence motion continuing Nembang's position at the helm of ANFA.
There was only one agenda in the Congress with President Nembang facing the no-confidence motion against him.
Representatives from districts, clubs and various associations had gathered for the jamboree in Hetauda on Thursday.

Nepal marched into the second round of World Cup Qualifiers first round after an aggregate 2-1 win over Laos over two legs.
Manish Dangi scored the only goal for Nepal in the 53rd minute to secure the aggregate win. Dangi latched a pass from Anjan Bista with his left leg for the goal.
The two sides had played a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Dasharath Stadium.
Nepal will now face UAE, Bahrain and Yemen in Group H of the second round. The second round matches will be played in home-and-away format between November 2023 and June 2024.
The team will return home on Wednesday.
