World football governing body FIFA has said former ANFA President Ganesh Thapa, who has been banned for 10 years, should not engage in any kind of football-related activity.
In a letter addressed to ANFA General Secretary Indraman Tuladhar on Wednesday, Kenny Jean-Marie, FIFA Chief Member Associations Officer and Vahid Kardany, AFC Deputy General Secretary reminded ANFA of the sanction imposed on the former president.
"As long as the ban in question remains in place, FIFA expects ANFA and its members not knowingly permit Ganesh Thapa to engage in any kind of football-related activity, whether at national or international level (administrative, sporting, or otherwise)," the letter stated.
The letter said should Thapa violate the decision by FIFA, he should be reported to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee for further appropriate action.

Following the recommendation by League Committee, ANFA Disciplinary Committee has banned player Prince Shrestha for two years and players Bidur Rijal and Prabin Rai for one year each from taking part in football tournaments organized or approved by ANFA.
Team officials Sanjiv Karki and team manager Anup Bhattarai have been banned from their remaining matches in the league while team official Rabin Chand has been banned for one year from taking part in football tournaments. All the suspensions will come into effect from May 9.
