Sanjog Rai scored the first hat-trick of Qatar Airways Martyr’s Memorial “A” Division League 2019/20 on Saturday as Ruslan Three Star Club knocked 4 goals past Saraswoti Youth Club in a 4-0 victory.
Three Star failed to score at the first half of the game despite getting good numbers of chances on the ball. Wasiu Hazmat’s bad form prevented him to score from pretty good positions multiple times in the first half. Three Star took the lead at Dasrath Stadium in the opening stages of the second half with Lal Rammavra’s goal. Sanjog Rai got on the scoresheet at 57th minute with a wonderfully placed goal. Three minutes later, Rai thumped in a powerful left footed shot in the top left corner of the post to get another goal. Taking advantage of Pradeep Bhandari’s wrong judgement to Ashok Khawash’s long ball, Sanjog Rai got a treble at 71st minute. Sanjog Rai won Kelme Man of the Match trophy for his wonderful hat-trick and contribution in the game.
The shadow of relegation looms around Saraswoti Youth Club who are at bottom of the table with 4 points and three games remaining. Ruslan Three Star Club, however, stays at the fourth position with 17 points.

An early substitute Rajesh Pariyar helped New Road Team (NRT) grab three important points against Brigade Boys Club ( BBC) on ongoing Qatar Martyr's Memorial A Division League 2076.
As Kishan Kumar got injured on 22nd minute of the game, he was subbed off by Rajesh Pariyar for NRT. Rajesh (NRT) needed just 10 minutes to prove his worth by giving the lead on 32nd minute of the game on Darshan Gurung's assist. Later on, on Shyam Babu's assist, Rajesh doubled the scoreline with great finish just 7 minutes after the interval. Although BBC lads dominated on ball possession, they were not able to make a great shot on the frame. On the 63rd minute, they got a chance to comeback on the game as they were awarded with a penalty. Penalty shot placed by BBC's captain Anil Gurung to the bottom left corner was saved by NRT's keeper Ajit Prajapati with a splendid dive.
The fulltime score was NRT 2-0 BBC. Although, Rajesh and Ajit showed their brilliant performance, they also had an unsung hero: Shyam Babu from NRT who was able to grab the "Kelme Man of the match" award for his heroic performance.

Uttam Rai's only goal late in the game helped NIBL Friends Club to get vital three points against Chyasal Youth Club in the ongoing Qatar Martyr's Memorial A Division League.
Both the team started with an attacking mentality and continued doing so throughout the game. Keepers Dev Limbu (Friends Club) and Alan Neupane (Chyasal Youth Club) made great saves to deny attackers from both the halves. Despite their attacking efforts, neither team could break the deadlock, ending the first half in a goalless stalemate.
The breakthrough for Friends Club came in the 84th minute, Uttam Rai placed a rebound shot on the back of the net after Bishow Adhikari's freekick was spilled by Chyasal's keeper Alan Neupane. Dev Limbu made a wonderful save in the 90+3rd minute to deny Santosh Shaukhala's freekick that sealed the win for Friends Club.
Uttam Rai was adjudged win Man of the Match award for his wonderful performance.
