Armed Police Force hold Himalayan Sherpa to a 1-1 draw

A goal from Armed Police Force’s  Prabin Kumar Syangtan cancelled out Tridev Gurung’s goal for Himalayan Sherpa as they played 1-1 draw in their Qatar Airways Martyr’s Memorial “A” Division League clash.

APF started the game on positive note and created better chances. Despite dominating possession, APF couldn’t break the deadlock in the first half. HSC, on the other hand, came up with better composure play later in the first half with Bhison Gurung almost scoring at 38th minute.

HSC bounced back with much better performance in the second half . HSC’s Tridev Gurung converted a corner into a wonderfully placed heading goal early in the second half(48th minute) . However, HSC couldn’t hold the lead longer as Prabin Syangtan’s shot from Ashish Lama’s cross kissed the net at 58th minute bringing APF back in the game. Both the teams had fewer chances later on but none affected the scoreline and the game ended 1-1.

Tridev Gurung from HSC was awarded man of the match for his contribution in the game. The match action and statistics is available here: https://the-anfa.com/live-commentary?id=165
