Yogesh Gurung and Dipak Rai grabbed a goal each in the half as Machhindra Club rolled over Brigade Boys Club in the inaugural match of the Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial 'A' Division League 2019/2020 that got underway today at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato.
Yogesh Gurung opened the scoring, heading in from a free kick after a well-timed run to the near post in the 30th minute.
Dipak Rai then doubled the lead for Machhindra in the 50th minute. Ranjit Dhimal set up Rai who drove the ball home from the edge of the area.
The league matches scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to next day as league champion Manang Marshyandi Club is set to play Japan League Team in a friendly tomorrow.
The friendly match will be played at the ANFA complex at 3:00 PM.

The disciplinary committee of the All Nepal Football Association today suspended four players for their inappropriate behavior during the national team camp for FIFA World Cup Qualifiers 2022 match against Kuwait.
The ANFA had recently launched an investigation into an incident on 16 November.
Bimal Gharti Magar and Dinesh Rajbanshi has been suspended for 90 days staring from 13 December. While. other two alleged players, Anjan Bista and Santosh Tamang has received a 45 days' suspension starting from 13 December.
All the four players are also fined with Rs. 50, 000 for their misconduct.
The suspension will serve no involvement of the players in any of the activities recognized by the ANFA.

Qatar Airways has partnered with the All Nepal Football Association for the Martyr's Memorial 'A' Division 2019-2020.
The Qatar Airways 'A' Division Martyr's Memorial League is the biggest annual football event in Nepal starting from 14 December 2019 to 15 February 2020.
The partnership will see the Qatar Airways logo featuring on all 14 league club shirts, as well as providing brand awareness through perimeter boards, stadium flags, LED screens and online digital content as well as other activity.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said: "We are very pleased to announce this new partnership, which will see Qatar Airways increase its exposure in Nepal whilst supporting the development of football in the country. We are continually striving to boost our global sporting sponsorship portfolio, and this partnership is just one more example of our dedication to sport and our belief in its power to bring people together."
ANFA President Mr. Karma Tsering Sherpa said: "We are extremely grateful for the support of the award winning global brand, Qatar Airways, and we look forward with great anticipation to an exciting two months of football in the Qatar Airways 'A' Division Martyr's Memorial League. This agreement builds upon our existing collaboration with the Qatar Football Association and we are delighted to forge even closer ties with Qatar with this partnership."
Mr. Mohamad El Eman, Country Director of the Qatar Airways said: "We are very proud to keep our feet in Nepal now. I hope this sponsorship will bring and have more and more success in Nepal. We must thank ANFA for giving us the opportunity."
The Qatar Airways will provide ANFA a total of 150, 000 USD for the league as per the agreement.
This is the first time that an international company has sponsored football tournament in Nepal.

Shree Narayan Janta School, Sarlahi have clinched the title of Kwik's Cup Inter-School National Football Tournament in Boy's category.
Shree Narayan defeated Sainik Awashiya School, Pokhara 3-2 in the final match played today at the ANFA Complex.
Likewise, Nepalaya English Public School finished third and Wonderland School stood forth in the competition.
Nepalaya English Public beat Wonderland School 1-0 in the third place match.
A total of 16 boys team have qualified for the final round of the largest youth football tournament.
Winner Shree Narayan Janta Secondary School bagged Rs. 300,000 while Sainik Aawashiya Pokhara were awarded with Rs. 150, 000.
Nepalaya School and Wonderland School received Rs. 75, 000 and Rs. 50, 000 respectively.
The girl's tournament will begin from 6-13 December, 2019.
