The first round of the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 concluded on Wednesday.
BBR A-One Saraswoti Youth Club secured a 2-1 victory over Bansbari Club in the final match of the round.
Sabin Lungeli Magar opened the scoring for Saraswoti in the 33rd minute with a well-placed dink over Bansbari goalkeeper Roshan Karki. They doubled their lead in the second half when Dhirendra Bahadur Shaha capitalized on a defensive error.
Bansbari managed a late consolation goal through Bikey Rai, who found the net in the sixth minute of added time.
The second round of the League will commence on March 17 at the ANFA Complex.

The preliminary squad of the national men's football team scheduled to play against Singapore and Malaysia has been reduced to 27.
Head coach Matt Ross trimmed his squad size to 27 from the previous 30 called up in the preliminary squad.
Nepal will play an international friendly against Singapore on March 21 before facing Malaysia in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers match on March 25.

Tusal Youth Club and Madhyapur Youth Association shared points after a 1-1 draw in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 match on Wednesday.
In the first match of the day, Madhyapur took the lead through Santosh Gongba’s first-half strike in the 41st minute. However, Tusal responded strongly in the second half, equalizing through Binod Nembang’s 66th-minute goal.
In the second match, Shree Bhagawati Club staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 3-1 victory over RCT. RCT were reduced to 10 players after their captain, Samir Rai, received a straight red card for elbowing an opponent. Despite being a man down, RCT took the lead in the 36th minute through Nikhil Tamang.
Shree Bhagawati found their equalizer in the 54th minute when substitute Bikrant Narsingh Rana scored from close range. They took the lead through an own goal by Amar Shrestha, whose attempted clearance deflected off a shot by Shisir Lekhi and into the net. Bishal Bikram Suwal sealed the victory in the 90th minute, capitalizing on a poor throw-in to score the third goal for Shree Bhagawati.

Planning Boys United and Brigade Boys United began their Martyr's Memorial B Division League campaigns with victories on Monday.
Planning Boys secured a 2-1 win over Jhapa Football Club, while Brigade Boys United edged past Shree Kumari Club by the same scoreline.
In the first match of the day, Fagu Ram Tharu put Planning Boys ahead in the 14th minute. Jhapa equalized through Pujan Rai in the 39th minute, but Sujan Dangol's 63rd-minute strike sealed the win for Planning Boys.
Brigade Boys took control of the second match with a brace from Ashish Gurung. He opened the scoring in the 15th minute and doubled the lead four minutes into the second half. Shree Kumari pulled one back through Pranaya Gurung in the 61st minute and applied late pressure but failed to find the equalizer.
