FIFA congratulates ANFA President

Pankaj Bikram Nembang has been congratulated by the Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) for being elected to lead the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, sent greetings and congratulations to President Nembang in a letter today. He also expressed his congratulations to the newly elected Sr. / Vice Presidents and Executive Committee members.

The letter says, "I trust your knowledge, leadership, and experience will have a big impact on the development of our beautiful game in Nepal."

President Infantino stated, 'I wish you and your team good luck and success for all the challenges that lie ahead, in creating and witnessing a lasting legacy for the future of football in Nepal.'

Nembang won over Karma Tsering Sherpa in the 21st ANFA General Congress held on 20th of June.

FIFA Referee Anjana Rai included in AFC Elite Women Referees & Assistant Referees Panel 2022

FIFA Referee Anjana Rai has been included in the AFC Elite Women Referees & Assistant Referees Panel 2022 after completing the AFC Women Referees & Assistant Referees Selection course.

A letter regarding Rai's inclusion was conveyed to ANFA by the AFC on Friday.

The inclusion means Rai will be invited to the AFC Elite Referees Preparation Course. The course is scheduled for November.

Rai received the FIFA Referee badge in 2021.

NSC Member Secretary welcomes ANFA Int'l Relations head Pande

National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Tankalal Ghising has welcomed ANFA's International Relation Head Nabin Pande.

Pande was appointed to the post by the first meeting of newly-elected Executive Committee on Wednesday. Pande will volunteer to the post.

Ghising welcomed Pande at his office in Tripureshwor on Saturday. Ghising congratulated Pande and wished him well in performing his duties.

Gen Secy Kiran Rai receives congratulatory message from AFC Gen Secy

AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John has congratulated ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai on his appointed to the post.

AFC General Secretary sent the congratulatory letter to Rai on Friday. "We extend our congratulation to you, on your appointment as the General Secretary of ANFA, in the confidence that you will take this responsibility with great energy and enthusiasm," stated the letter to Rai.

AFC General Secretary also assured that the AFC will continue to support and provide assistance wherever necessary for the development of football in Nepal.
