Shree Bhagawati Club ran riot against Nawa Jana Jagriti Yuwa Club with a convincing 5‑1 victory at the ANFA Complex, while Satdobato Youth Club and Laligurans Association secured narrow wins over Manang Marsyangdi Club and Nepal Police Club, respectively, at the Dasharath Stadium.

Shree Bhagawati took control early as Martins Kayode Ajayi scored twice. Shishir Lekhi added a brace from the penalty spot in the 38th and 58th minutes, while Subash Bam (42') and Semanta Thapa (54') also found the net. Nawa Jana Jagriti Yuwa Club’s lone goal came from Bikram Thokar in the 77th minute.

At the Dasharath Stadium, Satdobato Youth Club edged Manang Marsyangdi Club 1‑0 thanks to Fode Fofana’s decisive strike in the 61st minute. APF Football Club ran riot against Church Boys United, NRT secured an early strike advantage over Kankre Bihar Club, and Friends Club and Sankata FC battled to a goalless stalemate in the National League on Thursday.

At the Chyasal Stadium, APF FC displayed clinical attacking football to defeat Church Boys United. Samiraj Thokar opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, followed by Pradip Lama’s strike in the 38th minute. Yubaraj Khadka added a brace in the 60th and 77th minutes to put the match beyond doubt, while Milan Rai pulled one back for Church Boys United in the 82nd minute.

In the second match at the ANFA Complex, NRT secured a 2‑0 victory over Kankre Bihar Club. Timothy Chiemerie scored early in the 2nd minute, giving NRT an immediate advantage, before Randip Paudel doubled the lead in the 35th minute.

Departmental sides held to draws as National League action continues

In a tightly contested National League double‑header at the ANFA Complex on Monday, Nepal Police Club and Chitlang FC shared the points in a 1‑1 draw, while Planning Boyz United and Tribhuvan Army Football Club played out a goalless stalemate.

In the first match, Chitlang FC drew first blood when Mathew Babatunde found the net in the 41st minute. Nepal Police fought back and leveled late when Lachhuman Rana Magar’s own goal in the 87th minute brought the score to 1‑1 — earning Police their first point of the season and a hard‑fought result against a spirited Chitlang side.

The second fixture saw Planning Boyz United and Tribhuvan Army FC locked in a competitive battle, but neither side was able to break the deadlock as the match finished 0‑0. Both teams exhibited strong defensive discipline in a match where clear chances were limited.

Laligurans cruise over Nawa Jana Jagriti, victories for NRT and Machhindra FC

National League action continued on Monday with Laligurans Association, NRT and Machhindra FC emerging victorious from matches played in Kathmandu.

At the ANFA Complex, Laligurans Association produced a strong second-half display to defeat Nawa Jana Jagriti Club 4-1. Abdul Yusuph Haule opened the scoring in the 26th minute before Ashish Gurung struck twice in quick succession in the 55th and 60th minutes to put Laligurans firmly in control. Akoete Junior Donou added a fourth goal late in the match in the 89th minute. Nawa Jana Jagriti Club pulled one back in stoppage time through Umesh Sanjel, who scored in the 90+1 minute.

In the second match at the Dasharath Stadium, NRT registered a 3-1 victory over Satdobato Youth Club. Bigyan Khadka gave NRT an early lead in the 8th minute, which was doubled by Timothy Chiemerie Okereke in the 17th minute. Satdobato reduced the deficit through Fode Fofana in the 33rd minute, but Bigyan Khadka sealed the win with his second goal deep into stoppage time in the 90+3 minute.

The final match of the day saw Machhindra FC edge past Manang Marsyangdi Club 2-1 at the Dasharath Stadium. Sanish Shrestha put Machhindra ahead in the 8th minute before Manang Marsyangdi Club equalised just before halftime through Bishesh Lama in the 45+1 minute. Machhindra regained the lead in the 57th minute when Jonathan Eduardo Cantillana found the net, a goal that proved decisive.
