Nepal Police Club secured a 2-0 victory over Bagmati Youth Club in the ANFA Women’s League Final Round, though the win came after several missed opportunities.
Niru Thapa opened the scoring in the 9th minute, giving Nepal Police an early lead. Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, the team struggled to convert, leaving them frustrated at times.

Defending champions APF Football Club hit Waling Municipality for nine in the ANFA Women’s League final round on Monday.
Rashmi Kumari Ghising was the star of the match, scoring four goals, including a hat-trick inside the first 17 minutes. She struck in the 3rd, 6th, and 17th minutes, setting the tone for APF’s dominance. Ghising later added one more in the 77th.
Gita Rana also shone, scoring twice, with her first goal in the 5th minute and a penalty conversion in the 42nd minute. Saru Limbu contributed a brace, finding the net in the 31st and 39th minutes. Anita KC completed the rout with a 90th-minute strike, sealing APF’s emphatic victory.
APF’s relentless attacking display overwhelmed Waling Municipality in the first half, leaving them with little chance to recover, despite a much-improved performance in the second half. However, the damage had already been done in the opening 45 minutes.

The much-anticipated departmental derby between Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Nepal Police Club in the ANFA Women’s League final round on Sunday ended in a goalless draw.
The match, played at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato, was marred by controversy when Nepal Police Club’s goal in the 23rd minute was ruled out. Puja Rana, who found the net, was adjudged to have fouled Army's goalkeeper, Anjana Rana Magar, during the goal.
The decision led to a 30-minute stoppage as players from Nepal Police Club refused to take on the field. After the dispute was resolved, play resumed, but neither side managed to break the deadlock.
