Bangladesh stun Nepal to win SAFF U-20 Championship title

Bangladesh secured the SAFF U-20 Championship title with a stunning 4-1 win over Nepal on Wednesday at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

The match saw Bangladesh dominate from start to finish. Mirajul Islam opened the scoring in the added minute of the first half, silencing the full-capacity crowd. Nepal briefly ignited hopes of a comeback when Samir Tamang scored, but those hopes were dashed when Mohammed Piash Ahmmed Nova netted a fourth goal for Bangladesh in stoppage time.

The prize presentation was attended by Minister for Youth and Sports Teju Lal Chaudhary, National Sports Council Member Secretary Tanka Lal Ghising, ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, and General Secretary Kiran Rai.
