Voting delegates from Gandaki, Koshi provinces finalized

Voting delegates from Gandaki Province and Koshi Province have been finalized unanimously on Wednesday.

Baglung District Football Association, Tanahun DFA, Syangja DFA, Nawalpur DFA, Manang DFA and Kaski DFA have been elected as the voting delegates from Gandaki Province for the upcoming ANFA Extraordinary Congress on Magh 8. All the DFAs were elected unanimously.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Ran and Ex-Co member Maniraj Bista oversaw the process in Gandaki province on Wednesday.

Similarly, Khotang, Udaypur, Sankhuwasabha, Sundari, Morang, Jhapa, Dhankuta, Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung have been elected from Koshi Province. These districts were also elected unanimously on Wednesday.

35 players selected for closed camp of U-19 national women's team

Thirty-five players have been selected for the closed camp of the U-19 national women's team.

Head coach Bal Gopal Maharjan called up 35 players for the closed camp for the upcoming SAFF U-19 Women's Championship in Dhaka from February 2-8.

The players have been finalized after three levels of selection conducted at districts, province and central level.

Preliminary squad

Goalkeepers: Lila Joshi, Karun Budhathoki, Sujata Tamang, Radhika Oli

Defenders: Divya Yasmali Magar, Sita Rokaya, Amita Bhul, Renu Limbu, Ganga Rokaya, Sanu Maya Waiba, Prashana Bhujel, Rojita Bist, Simran Rai, Sarita Kumari Nath, Maya Maskey, Dipa Magar, Rupa Limbu

Lalitpur DFA member Rajan Panta passes away

Lalitpur District Football Association member Rajan Panta has passed away on Wednesday. He was 41.

Panta, also the Assistant Treasurer of Sanepa Club died of heart attack, informed club's President Dhruba Panday. Pant was rushed to Alka Hospital from his home in Sanepa but died on his way there.

ANFA expresses deep grief and sorrow on untimely passing away of Lalitpur DFA member Panta. We condole the grieving family in this difficult time.

Bal Gopal Sahukhala appointed head coach of U-19 national women's team

Bal Gopal Sahukhala has been appointed as the head coach of the U-19 national women's team.

Ganga Gurung and Shyam Sundar Singh have been appointed as Assistant Coaches while Sailesh Karmacharya will become the Goalkeeping Coach.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai in presence of ANFA Ex-Co member and coordinator of Women's Committee and AFC Women's Committee member Sarila Shrestha Maleku handed over the appointment letter to the officials at ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Wednesday.

The coaching team will lead Nepal in the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship to be held from February 2-8 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Central selection of the players for the national U-19 women's team has begun at ANFA Complex from Wednesday.
