Sankata Club lose 1-0 to API Power Church Boys United in the Martyr's Memorial A Division League 2023 on Saturday.
In the day's third match at Dasharath Stadium, Youssef Atriss scored in the 69th minute for Sankata Club. Sankata pounced on a swift attack following a Church Boys corner to score. The win takes Sankata to 11th in the points table, two points clear of relegation.
In the other matches, Jawalakhel Youth Club lost 2-0 to APF Football Club. Armand Beadoum and Awas Lamichhane scored for APF in the win at Dasharath Stadium. Beadoum scored the team's first in the 23rd minute before Lamichhane doubled it in the added minutes of first half.
Tribhuvan Army Football Club played a 1-1 draw against Machhindra Football Club at Chyasal Stadium. Dinesh Henjan gave Army the lead in the 17th minute before an own goal from Youdha Shahi in the 60th levelled the game for Machhindra.
The draw means Machhindra are second on 36 points, two points behind leaders Church Boys. Army are fourth with 30 points.

Dinesh Kumar Shrestha has been elected as the new President of Sudurpaschim Province Football Association on Saturday.
Shrestha and the new executive committee of the provincial association were elected unanimously. ANFA Ex-Co members Rabindra Chand and Anil Malla attended the general assembly in Mahendranagar as chief guests.

Raghbendra Karki, Tej Bahadur Chand and Khem Bahadur Rawat were elected as Vice Presidents.
Mina Kuwar Thagunna was the women's member. Dinesh Malla, Gopal Chand, Dhiraj Chand, Dhiraj Bohara, Hem Krishna Ranjitkar, Nrip Buda, Thakkar Deuwa, Dipendra Bahadur Singh, Dinesh Kalel, Gorakh Royaka were elected as the members of the new ex-co.

Nepal Karki has been elected as the President of Madhes Province Football Association.
The General Assembly concluded on Saturday unanimously elected Karki as the President. ANFA Vice President Dawa Lama overlooked the election process.
The assembly also elected a new unanimous executive committee.

BIjay Kumar Gupta, Suman Shrestha and Rajdev Prasad Sah were elected as Vice Presidents. Lalita Kumari Chaudhary was elected as the women's member while Rajip Kumar Yadav, Rajesh Kumar Patel, Baburam Dahal, Shambhu Chaudhary, Sanjay Kumar Mandal, Uday Shrestha, Rajkishor Dhami, Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, Suresh Khadka and Ningma Lama were the other members.
The first meeting of the new ex-co members also appointed Dipak Sah Kanu as General Secretary and Shambhu Singh Thakuri as the Treasurer.

Nepal Police Club defeated FC Khumaltar 2-0 to move towards safety in the Martyr's Memorial A Division League 2023 on Friday.
In the first match at Dasharath Stadium, Bharat Shah and Muhammed Ashiq Shoukathali scored for Police in the win.
Shah headed in Police's first in the 76th minute before Shoukathali added a second two minutes from time. The win saw police climbed up to seventh with 28 points. Khumaltar are bottom with 21 points from 21 games.
In the other match of the day, Himalayan Sherpa Club scored a last gasp goal to defeat Three Star Club who are now winless in their past 10 games. Substitute Nisan Limbu scored the only goal in the added fifth minute of the game for Sherpa.
Sherpa climbed to sixth on the table with 29 points while Three Star are ninth with 26 points.
