All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) marked 10th AFC Grassroots Day by conducting grassroots festival week in different places.
AFNA in coordination with District Football Association, celebrated Grassroot Festival in four different places―ANFA Complex in Satdoabto, Sunsari, Dhanusha and Kaski districts. ANFA General Secretary Kiran Ran began the celebrations by handing over the ball to the instructors at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.
The festivals reached 550 children of 6 to 12 years of age with an aim of increasing participation and contribute to their overall well-being.
ANFA had conducted the festival in Sindhupalchowk District by reaching out to over 200 U-12 children on May 13 to commemorate the AFC Grassroots Football Day.
The kids, coaches and parents were also oriented on child safe guarding after the festivals. Participating children were provided with footballs and AFC Grassroots Football logo T-shits during the festival.
