All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Wednesday held a discussion with clubs over issues including foreign player registration, insurance of players, Pre-Competition Medical Assessment, club licensing and commercial guidelines
ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Kiran Rai, ex-co member Purushottam Thapa, Spokesperson Suresh Shah and competition director Sanjeeb Mishra were present in the discussion from ANFA. Representatives of all 14 A division clubs took part in the discussion.
Following the completion of the discussion, ANFA also organized a Media Seminar with the media officers of all the A division clubs.
AIPS Asia Treasurer and former President of Nepal Sports Journalist Forum Niranjan Rajbanshi and Photojournalists Club former President Bikash Karki briefed the media officers about various aspects.

Earlier, ANFA had played a friendly football match against sports journalists at ANFA Complex. Members from the ANFA Ex-Co, ANFA staffs and sports journalists played out the friendly football match. ANFA won the match 5-1. Sports journalists had taken the lead through Aashish Pudasaini but a double from General Secretary Rai and one goal each from Ex-Co member Bikash Narayan Shrestha, Nabindra Maharjan and Subas Neupane sealed the comeback win in the friendly.

Bangladesh defeated Nepal 3-1 in the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship match on Friday.
Most Aklima Khatun gave Bangladesh the lead after just three minutes at Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka. Shaheda Akter Ripa doubled the advantage in the 13 before Manmaya Damai halved the deficit in the 24th minute.
Nepal pressed on for an equalizer against the hosts nation but were unable to break them down. Bangladesh, instead, added a third in the added minutes of the game through Akter Ripa.
Nepal will now play their second match against Bhutan on Sunday. Bhutan had lost the tournament inaugural match against India by 12-0.

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Friday called a press meet on ongoing preparations for the Martyr's Memorial A Division League scheduled from March 3.
ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai, Spokesperson Suresh Shah and League Director Sanjib Mishra answered the media about the preparations for the league.
League matches will be played in Dasharath Stadium, Chyasal Stadium and ANFA Complex. The league will be played in double round robin format and the fixtures for the five rounds of the league have already been released.
ANFA has also invited tender for the marketing, broadcasting and ticketing rights of the league.
Each participating clubs have already received Rs 1.5 million as first installment of the preparation money from ANFA.
The champions of the league will receive Rs 7.5 million followed by Rs 5 million for second-placed team and Rs 2.5 million for third-placed team. Most valuable player and fair play team will receive Rs 300,000 each while Best Goalkeeper and Highest Scorer will win Rs 200,000 each.
Winning team from each match will win Rs 50,000. If the match is drawn the money will be split equally between the two sides.
The estimated budget of the league is Rs 12 million.

The preliminary squad of the national women's team for the friendly against India has been reduced to 33.
Head coach Ananta Raj Thapa left out 10 players from the 43 initially called up for closed camp training.
India will host Nepal for the friendly in February. The national team has been training at ANFA Complex in Satdobato to prepare for the friendly.
