NOC Manag Marshyangdi Club faces first loss as Chyasal Youth Club stuns them by two goals to nil.

Chyasal Youth Club (CYC) defeated NOC Manang Marsyangdi (MMC) by 2-0 in Qatar Airways Martyr’s Memorial A Division League at ANFA stadium on Monday.

The game started with an early opportunity for CYC as Amir Shrestha missed a volley from the box. Tiaga Nakamura scored a classy freekick at the 24th minute of the match to provide the lead for CYC. MMC could not make a comeback in the first half but showed an attacking game in the second half.

Nishan Limbu (MMC) tried a shot from the opposition box but failed to finish in the target. The game heated up in the latter half of the match. CYC coach Bal Gopal Saukhala was shown a red card for using offensive language against the referee. CYC doubled the lead on 94th minute of the game as Santosh Saukhala scored his 7th goal of the season on the assist provided by Tiaga Nakamura.

Hayato Wakino was declared as the Kelme man of the match for his all-round performance.

Nawayug's brace helps Tribhuvan Army Club defeat Nepal Police Club 4 - 2

Nawayug Shrestha's double brace helps Tribhuvan Army Club defeat Nepal Police Club 4 - 2 in the ongoing Qatar Marty's Memorial A Division League.

Nepal Police Club played an attacking game in the early stages and took the lead in the 20th minute of the game. Nir Kumar Rai's freekick found Buddha Bal Tamang inside the box who finished off with a strong header in the top corner. However, NPC could not protect the lead for long as TAC man Suman Aryal also converted a header following a freekick. The first half concluded with TAC dominating the possession along with the attacking chances.

Man Bahadur Parihar put NPC in the lead again by conversing with a header from Nir Kumar Rai's corner in the 58th minute of the game. TAC determined to get all three points made back to back substitution. However, the goals for TAC came in the later stages of the game. Nawayug Shrestha scored two braces, a well-placed header in the 77th minute and a powerful strike that found the top right corner in the 85th minute of the game taking the game away from NPC's grasp. Sudil Rai added his name on the score sheet in the 89th minute of the game with a powerful shot from inside the box that sealed the win for TAC.

With this win, Tribhuvan Army Club moves a step close to the title with a point clear at the top. Nepal Police Club, on the other hand, risks losing the place in the top six.

Ajayi Martins goal gives Sankata Club a win over Yeti Himalayan Sherpa

Sankata Club (SC) defeats Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club (HSC) in ongoing 10th round of Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A Division League on Sunday at Dashrath Stadium.

Having more ball possession for most of the match HSC certainly missed a good finisher to convert the chances created into goal. HSC had an early opportunity to take the lead in the match but Kamal Thapa Magar could not make the most out of it. Ajayi Martins Kayode(SC) scored a goal in the 21st minute of the match with a header which was lovely pass from Kshitij Raj. HSC fought till the last to come back in the match and on the 83rd minute Bimal Shrestha’s shot was blocked by the SC’s defence which was their final chance for a comeback. A total of 3 yellow cards were received by players (1 for HSC and 2 for SC).

Ajayi Martins Kayode was declared as Kelme Man of the Match for his allround performance.

Chandrapur Municipality lifts Chandrapur Deputy Mayor League title

Chandrapur Municipality on Saturday lifted the title of Chandrapur Deputy Mayor National Women's League.

In the finals, Chandrapur defeated Waling Municipality in penalty shootout. The match was decided through penalty shootout after both the teams played goalless draw in the regulation time.

Champion Chandrapur Municipality received Rs. 3, 00, 000 while runner up Waling Municipality bagged Rs. 1, 50, 000. 

Rajani Thokar was adjudged the Best Player Award of the tournament and received scooter.

Best Defender: Samikshya Ghimire (Chandrapur Municipality)

Best Midfielder: Sabita Rana Magar (Chandrapur Municipality)

Players from each individual awards were awarded with Rs. 15, 000 cash.
