KWS Planning Boys United saw their lead at the top of the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 table reduced to just two points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Shree Kumari Club on Sunday.
In the match played at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, league leaders Planning Boys were made to work hard for a point. Yaman Maharjan gave Shree Kumari the lead in the 59th minute, but Pratap Sing Rai equalized in the 72nd minute to ensure Planning Boys avoided defeat.
Earlier in the day, Birgunj United secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Madhyapur Youth Association. Amit Bachhar scored the decisive goal in the 42nd minute, earning all three points for Birgunj.

Boys Union Club held off a late comeback from Brigade Boys Club to claim a narrow 3-2 victory in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 on Friday.
Dorje Tamang opened the scoring for Boys Union in the 29th minute, giving them a first-half lead. The team extended their advantage in the second half with goals from Sujit Budathoki in the 66th minute and Milan Limbu five minutes later.
Brigade Boys responded with a spirited late charge as Roman Shrestha found the net in the 79th minute and Ashish Gurung added another in the 87th. However, Boys Union managed to hold on and secure the three points.
In the day’s other fixture, Shree Bhagawati Club continued their strong push for promotion with a 2-0 win over Jhapa Football Club. Following a goalless first half, Bikrant Narsingh Rana broke the deadlock in the 65th minute. Ajit Lama sealed the win with a goal in the 79th minute, keeping Shree Bhagawati in the race for promotion.

RCT Club came from behind to secure a thrilling 4-3 victory over Saraswoti Youth Club in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 at the ANFA Complex on Thursday.
Saraswoti opened the scoring in the 36th minute through Bishesh Lama, but their lead lasted only four minutes as Ajit Gurung equalized for RCT. Saraswoti regained the lead in the 53rd minute with a goal from Sandesh Khatri. However, RCT staged a dramatic comeback with three goals in a five-minute span.
Prajwal Gurung leveled the score once again in the 65th minute, followed by a quick strike from Sajan Pakhrin in the 67th minute to put RCT ahead. Prajwal Gurung struck again in the 70th minute to extend RCT’s lead to 4-2. Although Naresh Kumar Khatri scored in the sixth minute of added time for Saraswoti, it was not enough to salvage a point.
In the second match of the day, Bansbari Club edged Shree Tusal Youth Club 1-0. Bikey Rai netted the lone goal of the match in the 67th minute, securing all three points for Bansbari.

A seven-day ANFA basic referee course has begun in Phidim, Panchthar from Tuesday.
A total of 43 participants including two women are taking part in the course.
The course is being organized by Panchthar District Football Association with technical support from ANFA.
Phidim Municipality Chief Mitra Prasad Kafle inaugurated the event at the municipality hall.
Panchathar District Football Association President Ganesh Bahadur Rai was also present in the inauguration ceremony. The course will conclude on May 12.
The course is aimed at individuals aspiring to become certified football referees in Nepal.
