Chyasal Youth, Shree Tusal Share Spoils in 1-1 Draw

Chyasal Youth Club and Shree Tusal Youth Club shared points after playing out a 1-1 draw in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 on Sunday.

In the only fixture of the day, Chyasal took the lead in the 30th minute through Anil Bhomjan and looked set for all three points.

\However, Shree Tusal salvaged a draw with a dramatic equalizer from Pradip Sunar in the 90th minute at the ANFA Complex.

Madhyapur defeat Shree Kumari 3-1 in B Division League

Madhyapur Youth Club secured a 3-1 victory over Shree Kumari Club in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League 2081 on Saturday.

The match, originally scheduled for Friday, was postponed by a day due to a scheduling conflict with the ANFA Ordinary Congress held in Dhulikhel, Kavre.

Madhyapur made an early breakthrough as Bikarna Shrestha opened the scoring in just the 3rd minute. The team doubled their lead in the 26th minute through Prajjwal Thapa Magar, heading into halftime with a comfortable advantage.

Shree Kumari Club showed significant improvement in the second half and managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Nishant Pradhan in the 86th minute. However, Madhyapur sealed the win in added time with a goal from Santosh Gongba, putting the result beyond doubt.

ANFA Basic Referee Course concludes in Panchthar

A seven-day ANFA Basic Referee Course organized in Phidim, Panchthar concluded successfully with 20 participants passing the final assessment.

The course, which began last Tuesday, was jointly conducted by the Panchthar District Football Association with technical support from the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). A total of 43 aspiring referees, including two women, took part in the training program aimed at equipping individuals with the foundational knowledge and skills required to officiate football matches.

Among the 43 participants, the following 20 individuals successfully passed the course: Arjun Rai, Bigyan Prasai, Bishal Bantawa Rai, Diwan Rai, Jiban Gurung, Jitan Rai, Kanchan Shrestha, Mahesh Yaksho, Samir Darjee Karki, Sanjaya Jabegu, Saujan Rai, Ser Bahadur Limbu, Sikum Hang Limbu, Subash Limbu, Suman Limbu, Suman Rai, Sunuhang Nembang, Susan Longwa Limbu, Yugen Limbu, and Birendra Rai.

The course covered various aspects of football officiating, including the Laws of the Game, fitness training, positioning, and decision-making.

At the closing ceremony, the passed participants received their certificates from Panchthar District Football Association President Ganesh Rai and District Coordination Committee Panchthar Chief Ramraj Angdembe. They congratulated the new referees and encouraged them to contribute actively to the development of football in the region.

Shree Bhagawati, Planning Boys share spoils

League leaders KWS Planning Boys United and second-placed Shree Bhagawati Club played out a 1-1 draw in the Martyr's Memorial B Division League on Thursday.
The result allows Planning Boys to maintain their two-point lead at the top of the table.

Shree Bhagawati took an early lead through Ujwal Rai in the 8th minute, but in-form Fagu Ram Tharu equalized in the 53rd minute to ensure a share of the points.

In the day's first match, Boys Union Club and Birgunj United played out a dramatic 3-3 draw. Birgunj took the lead in the 4th minute via an own goal by Man Kumar Tamang, but Sujit Budathoki quickly leveled just three minutes later.
Amit Bachhar restored Birgunj’s advantage in the 19th minute, only for Dorje Tamang to bring Boys Union level again in the 56th.

Amar Dangol looked to have sealed the win for Birgunj with a goal in the 84th minute, but Divyabikram Chaudhary’s dramatic equalizer in the 11th minute of stoppage time salvaged a point for Boys Union.
