Police match against Sankata postponed

The final match of the first round of the ANFA Women's League 2081 between Sankata Club and Nepal Police Club on Saturday at 1 pm in ANFA Complex has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

Heavy rainfall reported across the country has led to the decision, with the match now postponed until further notice.

APF undefeated in first round; Army overwhelms Karnali

APF Football Club wrapped up the first round of the ANFA Women's League with a commanding 7-0 victory over Bagmati Youth Club.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising starred for APF, scoring five goals, while Anita Basnet and Sabita Rana Magar each added one to ensure the team finished the round undefeated.

In another match, Tribhuvan Army FC also delivered a strong performance, defeating Karnali Province 5-0.

Goals from Chandra Bhandari, Bimala Chaudhary, Amisha Karki, Dipa Shahi, and Dipa Rai secured the victory for the Army side.

Waling and Koshi Secure Top 5 finishes with victories

Waling Municipality and Koshi Province clinched their spots in the Super League of the ANFA Women's League 2081 with wins on Thursday.

Waling edged past Chandrapur Municipality 2-1, with Sukriya Miya scoring first in the fifth minute, followed by Jackline Nassali doubling the lead in the 37th.

Although Sunita Sunar pulled one back for Chandrapur, they couldn't find the equalizer.

In the other match, Koshi triumphed over Sudurpaschim Province 4-0.

Samikshya Magar scored twice, while Mamata Raut and Khusma Rai also found the net. Raut opened the scoring in the 24th minute, followed by Magar’s goals in the 53rd and 65th minutes.

Rai capped off the victory with a late goal in the 85th minute.

Nepal Police defeat Karnali 3-0

Nepal Police Club secured a 3-0 victory over Karnali Province in the sole match of the ANFA Women's League 2081 on Wednesday.

Nirmala Upadhyay opened the scoring just before halftime, putting Police ahead.

Manisha Raut doubled the lead 10 minutes into the second half, and Samjhana Lawati sealed the win with a goal in the 82nd minute at ANFA Complex.
