Army dominates Waling, Bagmati triumphs over Sankata

Tribhuvan Army FC delivered a dominating performance, defeating Waling Municipality 8-0 at ANFA Complex on Tuesday.

Chandra Bhandari led the charge with a hat-trick, while Bimala BK and Amisha Karki each netted two goals. An own goal from Fatumah Nakasumba rounded out the scoring.

In the second match of the day, Bagmati Youth Club secured a 3-1 victory against Sankata FC.

Gifty Acheampong was the standout for Bagmati, scoring two goals, while Temilope Jeniffer Owoeye pulled one back for Sankata. A late goal from Pushpa Kumari Khadka sealed the win for Bagmati.

Chandrapur and Koshi share points; APF crushes Sudurpaschim

APF Football Club achieved the largest victory in the ongoing ANFA Women's League 2081, overwhelming Sudurpaschim Province 19-0 on Monday at ANFA Complex.

Rashmi Kumari Ghising and Anita KC each scored four goals, while Preeti Rai contributed a hat-trick. Sabita Rana Magar and Kusum Khatiwada added two goals each, with Anita Basnet, Saru Limbu, and Renuka Hamal each finding the net once.

An own goal by Sumi Hangma Rai capped off the one-sided match.

In the earlier match, Chandrapur Municipality and Koshi Province ended in a 1-1 draw.

After a goalless first half, Sunita Sunar gave Chandrapur the lead in the 51st minute, but Mamata Raut equalized for Koshi just 10 minutes from time.

Bagmati secures last-gasp victory over Karnali

Bagmati Youth Club triumphed over Karnali Province 1-0 to conclude the seventh round of the ANFA Women's League 2081 on Sunday.

In the sole match of the day at ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Gifty Acheampong scored a dramatic winner in the sixth minute of added time, securing all three points for her team.

40 players called up for SAFF Women's Championship initial squad

National women's team head coach Rajendra Tamang has called up 40 players in the preliminary squad of SAFF Women's Championship 2024.
