Mahabir escape relegation with victory over Jhamsikhel, Samajik defeat Sanga

Mahabir Studies & Athletics Association defeated Jhamsikhel Youth Club 3-1 to escape relegation from the Martyr's Memorial C Division League on Thursday.

Nir Bahadur Thapa gave Mahabir the lead in the 14th minute of the match. Sandip Shrestha missed a penalty in the 14th minute before Anish Sharma doubled the team's advantage in the 39th minute. Dipak Bashan Shrestha added a third to further strengthen their grip into the match.

Om Dhami scored in the 85th minute of the match for Jhamsikhel for the consolation.

In the other match of the day, Bijay Dong's first minute strike secured all three points for Samajik Youth Club against Sports Academy Sanga.

Bagmati push Golbazar closer to relegation, Khalibari defeat Manohara

Khalibari Yuba Football club defeated Manohara United Youth Club 1-0 in the Martyr's Memorial C Division League on Wednesday.

Manish Gurung scored the only goal for Khalibari in the 90th minute of the match for Khalibari.

In the second match of the day, Golbazar Sports Club were pushed closer to relegation with a 4-1 defeat to Bagmati Youth Club.

Anil Rana Magar gave Bagmati the lead in the 11th minute through a penalty before Srijan Raj Gautam doubled the lead in the 28th. Magar scored again in the 55th minute and Raj Bhusal scored a minute later for the fourth goal.

Golbazar scored a consolation through Binu Ale Magar's penalty in the sixth minute of added time of the match.

RC32, Bagmati promoted to B Division after Pulchowk loss

RC32 Football Academy and Bagmati Youth Club have been promoted to the B Division after RC32 won their match and Pulchowk Sports Club failed to win against Sanepa Club on Tuesday.

RC32 thrashed Raniban Sports Club 5-0 before Pulchowk fell to a shock 2-1 defeat to Sanepa Club at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

Rohan Karki (34'), Bibek Rai (44'), Sujan Balampaki Magar (45+2') and a brace from Sanjaya Subba (61' and 90+2') helped RC32 thrash relegation-threatened Raniban.

In the second match of the day, a brace from Khem Raj Gurung helped Sanepa to the victory over Pulchowk. Gurung scored his first in the seventh minute before doubling the team's advantage in the 65th. Deep Sen Thakuri pulled one back for Pulchwok in the 86th minute but it was too little and too late for them.

Swoyambhu thrash Mahabir, Samajik defeat Social Welfare

Swoyambhu Club boosted their survival hopes with a 4-1 thrashing of Mahabir Studies & Athletics Association in the Martyr's Memorial C Division League on Monday.

In the first match of the day, Ranjan Pun gave Swoyambhu the lead in the third minute of first half added time. Rajiv Shreesh Magar doubled the lead in the 67th minute before Pun scored his second goal three minute after Magar's goal.

Sandip Shrestha scored one for Mahabir in the 84th minute but Munna Chaudhary Tharu added a fourth for Swoyambhu in the 90th minute to secure the victory.

Social Welfare Sports Center Club's hopes of promotion all but ended with a 2-1 defeat to Samajik Youth Club.

Yugesh Shrestha gave Samajik the lead in the 32nd minute of the match. They doubled their lead through Basanta Bahadur Rana in the 53rd minute before Santosh Shrestha pulled one back for Social Welfare in the 59th minute.
