ANFA bid farewell to team for UAE and Yemen matches

All Nepal Football Association has bid farewell to the team members and officials travelling to Saudi Arabia for the World Cup Qualifiers second round matches against UAE and Yemen.

Nepal will play the two matches in Saudi Arabia as a neutral venue.

ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, General Secretary Kiran Rai, Deputy General Secretary Damodar Badri Bhattarai, CEO Indraman Tuladhar and Spokesperson Suresh Shah attended the farewell ceremony organized at Hotel Crowne Imperial in Ravi Bhawan.

Coaching course begins in Dang

A four day ANFA Coaching Course began in Tulsipur, Dang on Sunday. The course is being organized by Dang District Football Association with support from ANFA.

During the opening ceremony, Sanjat Dhital, President of Dang Football Association  and Chief Guest, Tika Ram Khadka, Mayor of Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan, delivered inspiring speeches.

ANFA Technical Director Hari Khadka and Head of Coach Education Sanjeet Singh are leading the course. A total of 45 coaches are taking part in the course from different districts.

The ANFA Community Course is designed to assist the Coach with an introduction to modern coaching and a basic understanding of how to conduct a training session as well as guidelines for coaching youth players (12years and above) up to and including the amateur senior player.

This course is aimed at Coaches in a non-professional environment.

Final squad for UAE and Yemen match announced

The national team final squad for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers second round matches against UAE and Yemen has been announced.

Nepal will play against the two nations in Saudi Arabia.

Ananta Tamang has returned to the national fold after injury while Anjan Bista, Dinesh Henjan, Phatteman Ghale miss out due to injury.

Basanta Jimba and Aashik Babu Chaudhary have made it into the final list for the first time.

AFC C Diploma Coaching Course concludes in Kailali

The AFC C Diploma Coaching Course has successfully concluded in Kailali district. A total of 24 participants had taken part in the course.

The course was organised by Kailali District Football Association with technical support from All Nepal Football Association and support from Sudurpaschim Province Sports Council.

ANFA Ex Co member and President of Kailali District Football Association Anil Malla, Sudurpaschim Province Sports Council Member Secretary Dipak Bahadur Singh, Sudurpaschim Procince Football Association President Dinesh Shrestha, ANFA Technical Director Hari Khadka and Head of Coach Education graced the closing ceremony.

The course is crafted to equip coaches with fundamental techniques and skills in football, fostering their development in the field. Its purpose is to educate coaches in planning, organizing, and executing training sessions effectively. Additionally, coaches are directed towards refining their moral conduct and lifestyle practices.
