Final squad of U-15 women's team finalized

The final squad of U-15 national team has been finalized on Friday.

U-15 national women's team head coach Bhagwati Rana Magar finalized her squad today.

The team will take part in the U-15 SAFF Women's Championship in Bangladesh from November 1-12.

Final squad:

Goalkeepers: Radhika Oli, Sujata Tamang, Rupa Dhimal

Defenders: Sita Rokaya, Amita Bhul, Dipa Magar, Anjana Pun Magar, Prena Dolma Lama, Renu Limbu, Bipana Snehi

Midfielders: Simran Rai, Punam Chemjong, Bhawana Pariyar, Sabita Mandal, Bhumika Budathoki, Sushila KC, Sukriya Miya, Rebika Nepali, Manisha Sen

Martyrs Memorial A Division League to begin from January 10

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) held a meeting with the clubs in A division league today at ANFA complex. President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Sr vice president Bir Bahadur Khadka, vice president Birat Jung Shahi, ex-co members Ramesh Byanjankar, Mahendra Chhetri, Purushottam Thapa, general secretary Kiran Rai as well as the presidents and representatives of the clubs discussed about the Martyrs Memorial 'A' Division League 2079.

The clubs and ANFA agreed on:

1. League structure and time frame. The league will start from January 10 until June 3 of 2023. (2079 Poush 26 - 2080 Jestha 20)

2. The format for the league will be double-round robin.

3. Try to play some league matches outside of the valley.

4. Hold a workshop for the clubs on October 31, to ensure the league to efficient and well-run.

ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai bereaved

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) General Secretary Kiran Rai has been bereaved of his mother.

Rai's mother Madhura Rai passed away on Monday evening. She was 77.

Madhura had back problems and her health had deteriorated since the past month.

She was rushed to District Hospital Udaypur when her health condition rapidly deteriorated. Doctors pronounced her dead at the hospital.

Final squad of U-17 national team announced

Head coach Urjan Shrestha announced the final 23-player squad for the 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifying on Thursday. After the SAFF U-17 Championship in September 2022, 30 players were invited to the closed camp on September 16.

Nepal finished the SAFF U-17 championship 2022 as the runner up after losing 4-0 to India in the final.

In order to compete in the 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifying, the team will depart on Sunday.
