Squads announced for two friendlies

National team head coach Abdullah Almutairi has announced his squads for the friendlies against Mauritius.

Almutairi announced two squads for the two friendlies to be played on January 29 and February 1. Almutairi said he was more focused to give exposure to the players than expecting a good result. "I want the players to get exposure in international matches. This will help us prepare them for the future by giving them more experience. I am expecting a good performance than the results," he said.

Thirty-four players are currently in training for the friendlies.

ANFA has fixed the price at NRs 500 and NRs 1000 for the normal and VIP parapet respectively. Also only one-third of the total stadium capacity will be allowed for the friendly to comply with the health protocols issued by the government.

Fans will have to produce their vaccination card to enter in the stadium during the games. Both the games will be played under the lights at 4:45 pm in Dasharath Stadium.

Mauritius friendlies to be played with one-third capacity, tickets price fixed

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has completed all the preparations for the two friendlies against Mauritius to be played on January 29 and February 1.

Only one-third spectators will be allowed in the stadium for the friendlies to comply with the health protocols issued by the government. Also only vaccinated science will be allowed into the stadium. 

Tickets will cost NRs 1000 for VIP parapet and NRs 500 for the normal parapet. Both the games will be played under the lights at 4:45 pm in Dasharath Stadium.

Mauritius team has arrived for the friendlies on Monday. Nepal's national team is currently in closed camp for the friendlies.

Mauritius arrive for friendlies against Nepal

Mauritius national team has arrived for the two friendly matches against Nepali national football team.

ANFA Vice President Shixit Parajuli and League Committee Deputy Director Ramesh Rajayamajhi welcomed the team players and officials at the airport.

Nepal and Mauritius will play the two friendlies on January 29 and February 1. Both the games are being played in the FIFA international match calendar dates.

Nepali side is currently in closed camp preparations for the friendlies.

National team begins training for Mauritius

The national men's football team has begun training for the upcoming friendlies against Mauritius from Tuesday.

Thirty-four players joined the camp for training at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

Ayush Ghalan, Dinesh Henjan and Kamal Thapa, previously called by head coach Abdullah Almutairi, will not join the squad. Thapa will not join due to family reasons and Henjan requires surgery on his back injury while Ghalan has chickenpox.

Head coach Abudullah Almutairi has called Satdobato Youth Club's Prashant Awasthi to the squad. Santosh Tamang has also joined the squad to continue his recovery from injury. He has been recovering fast and will be considered for the team after assessing his fitness.
