Nepal APF Mahindra Football team (APF) registers their second victory in the league by defeating NIBL Friends Club by 5-2.

Nepal APF Mahindra Football team (APF) managed to register their second victorious win of the Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A-Division League as they beat Friends Club (FC) by the score of 5-2 at ANFA complex on Monday. At 12th minute APF took the lead, as Aashish Lama from APF manages to score a brilliant header. Back to back attempts from FC was made to equalize the game, but the goalkeeper from APF was determined enough to make the saves on point. Aashish Lama at 40th minute doubles up the score with the awesome rebounder. With his amazing striking skills, he manages to make his way to the top of the list of the highest scorer of league beating Santosh Sahukhala. Uttam Rai, one of the finest striker of the Friends Club gets injured at 56th minute however Felipe De Sauza pulls up a goal for Friends Club at 69th-minute making score 2-1. After the FC’s goal, APF takes the lead as Prabin Kumar Syangtan finds the corner ball crossed by Nabin Lama. At 72th-minute FC wins a free kick which gets converted into a goal by Bishow Adhikari and brings the game back with score 3-2. APF added two more goals in the additional time, as Top Bahadur Bista and Prabin Kumar Syangtan score a marvelous goal leaving no room for the equalizer. Aashish Lama, the top scorer of the league till now is adjudged with the Kelmee Man of the Match for his amazing play.

Hayato and Taiga get on the score sheet as Chyasal Youth Club defeats Saraswoti Youth Club 2 -1

The Japanese duo Hayato Wakino and Taiga Nakamura get on the score sheet as Chyasal Youth Club defeats Saraswoti Youth Club 2 -1 in the ongoing Qatar Airways Marty's Memorial A Division League.

Chyasal Youth Club played an attacking game right from the start with multiple shots that tested the Saraswoti Youth Club's goalie. Tiaga Nakamura scored a wonderful freekick to give Chyasal Youth Club the lead in the 18th minute of the game. Hayata Wakino converted from the spot to double the lead for Chyasal Youth Club in the 66th minute of the game after he was brought down by Andre Ekwem inside the penalty area. Saraswoti Youth Club managed to pull one back in the dying stages of the game.

Kazeem Adegoke Busari finished off a brilliant counter-attack by rounding off the keeper and finishing in the bottom corner of the post. Taiga Nakamura of Chyasal Youth Club was awarded Kelme Man of the match for his performance.

Anjan Bista scored brace as NOC Manang Marshyangdi clinch 4-1 victory over New Road

NOC Manang Marshyangdi (MMC) climbed to the third place as they beat New Road Team (NRT) 4-1 on Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A-Division League. MMC's side dominated the whole game with the lead from Bimal Rana's strike on 35th minute. Just after 8 minutes, Anjan Bista added one more for MMC with a penalty kick which helped MMC to maintain the scoresheet before the half. Anjan succeeded to score another great goal at 65th minute. NRT's side were not able to perform well inside attacking half. Sakal Regmi got a consolation goal for NRT at 89th minute. Dayanand Singh added one more goal for MMC at 93rd with his right footed shot from the box. With this win, MMC finished just over Three Star Club on third place of the league table. Anjan Bista from MMC was adjudged with Kelme man of the match award for his heroic performance.

Updates and decisions made by the Exco Meeting

The All Nepal Football Association's (ANFA's) Executive Committee (Ex.Co) met at the ANFA Complex, Sardobato, Lalitpur.

ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa chaired the meeting.

The meeting have had a positive update and made several decisions, notably:

1) To honor Nepal Men's U-23 Football Team with Rs. 550,000 each for winning gold medal in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG)

2) To honor Nepal Women's Football Team with Rs. 150,000 Thousand each for winning silver in the 13th South Asian Games (SAG)

3) To provide Rs. 10 lakh each to the participating teams of Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League as preparation money. The champion club will win a prize of Rs. 15 Lakh while the first, second and third runners-up team will pocket Rs. 8 lakh, Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh respectively.

4) To provide Rs. 7 lakhs each to the participating teams of Martyr's Memorial 'C' Division League as preparation money

5) The prize money for the Women's League Football Tournament also has been declared. The champion club will win a prize of Rs.15. Lakh while the first, second and third runnes-up team will pocket Rs. 8 lakh, Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 3 lakh respectively.

6) It was agreed to implement National Club Licensing.
