Ruslan Three Star finishes off their final match with a 2-0 win against Chyasal Youth

Two second half strikes by Lalramamwia and Ananta Tamang earned Ruslan Three Star a 2-0 win over Chyasal Youth that pushed them to the third spot. The two sides played their final match of Qatar Airways Martyr’s Memorial “A” Division League 2019/20 on Friday at ANFA Complex, Satdobato.

Ruslan Three Star started the game strong. Ananta Tamang’s early attempt on goal through header beat Chyasal keeper Alan Neupane but Sunil Bal defended it spectacularly as he made a goal line clearance. Lalrammawia, who had a great influence in the game, broke Chyasal defensive line in the 70th minute. Lalrammawia scored a screaming header from center of the box to Nishan Khadka’s delightful set piece from the left. Chyasal Youth came up with good chances in the second half but failed to score due to strong defending from their opponent. Three Star doubled their lead in the closing stages of the game through penalty. Three Star won a penalty at 91st minute after Tshering Gurung horrendously fouled Lalrammawia inside the box. Ananta Tamanag scored from the spot and sealed their final win of the season.

With the win, Ruslan Three Star accumulated 26 points all together and moved to the third spot. However, the third spot depends on NOC Manang Marshyangdi’s final game who are at 4th spot with one point less and a game yet to be played against Prabhu Jawalakhel. Chyasal Youth ended up at 9th spot collecting a total of 15 points.

Stalemate as Nepal APF Mahindra Football Team and Brigade Boys Club score a goal each.

Nepal APF Mahindra Football Team and Brigade Boys Club each share a point each as they play 1 - 1 statement in their respective final match of Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A Division League.

Both the team started the game well with multiple attempts on goal. Man on form and the league's top scorers Aashish Lama was denied by BBC keeper Jeevan Bhattrai in a one on one situation in the 32nd minute of the game. However, Aashish Lama redeemed himself as he scored a wonderful header in the 44th minute of the game to give APF the lead and increase his score tally to nine. BBC desperate to get back in the game made multiple attacking attempts but could not hit the target.

The game seemed to end in APF favor but an extra-time goal by substitute Bijay Gurung leveled up the match. Nabin Lama is awarded the kelmee Man of The Match award for his performance.

Nepal Police Club thrash Friends Club with Ju Manu’s hat-trick

Ju Manu Rai scored a second-half hat-trick to lead Nepal Police Club (NPC) to 3-0 win in the ongoing Qatar Martyrs’ A Division League on Wednesday at ANFA Complex. Both the teams came into the game needing the points to climb up in the point’s table. The hassle between the two teams ended when forward Ju Manu Rai netted a hat-trick to propel NPC to 5th position. Tej Tamang cut the defense of the Friends' Club (FC) apart with a pass to Bhola Nath Silwal whose shot was deflected to find Ju Manu Rai’s strike to open up the scoring in 49th minute. Seven minutes later Ju Manu Rai doubled the lead with the powerful shot from inside the box passed by Nirkumar Rai. Again, at 85th minute Ju Manu Rai fires a powerful shot from outside of the box assisted by Nirkumar Rai. Friends club ends with fourteen points at the tenth position whereas NPC has twenty points. The Kelme Man of the Match was awarded to the Ju Manu Rai for his hat-trick goal.

Sanakata Club with a big six goal win over Saraswoti Youth Club.

Saraswoti Youth Club (SYC) faced a heavy loss to end its long journey of 12 years in the A-division league against the Sankata Club (SC) on Qatar Martyr's Memorial A-Division League 2076. SC's side dominated the game against SYC's side as they were lacking good ball possession and shots.

The game started with Massouke Marie's lead from the 5th minute of the game. Later on the 33rd minute, he found his another goal. Though he got plenty of chances to make a hattrick today, he was not able to convert some good chances on the frame. To end up an interval with a good lead, Suvash Gurung made it three for SC's side on 38th minutes of the game. Substitute from both sides added a goal each for their teams.

Tika Raj Gurung scored in 56th minutes for SC whereas Kazeem Busari took the penalty kick well for SYC on 79th minutes. On 65th minutes, Purna Bahadur Shrestha (SYC) couldn't defend well so he ended up finishing on his own post. Later on, in the 67th minute, Ernest Tempi (SC) had another own goal while defending Kazeem(SYC). To end up the game with the big scoreline, Roshan Pahari(SC) found another goal for SC.

Suvash Gurung was awarded as kelme man of the match for his all-round performance.
