18 February 2019 - The match fixtures of 2nd Dr. T Ao Northeast International NEC Gold Cup (U-21) Championship have been revealed by the organizer today.
ANFA U-21 has been grouped in pool ‘B’ with Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura.
Pool ‘A’ consists of Assam, Arunachal Pardesh, Bhutan, Sikkim and Bangladesh.
ANFA U-21 will open the campaign taking on Meghalaya on 20 February at 1:30 PM.
ANFA U-21 will play its second match against Tripura on 21st February.
The team will then take on Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland on 23rd, 24th and 25thFebruary respectively.
Top two teams from each group will qualify for semifinals.
The tournament will be played in Guwahati, India from 19th February to 1st March.
17 February 2019 - Bibek Chaudhary and Skipper Rukesh Shrestha scored a goal in each half as Shree Kumari Club beat Nayabasti Yuba Club 2-0 in the Martyr’s Memorial ‘B’ Division League today.
Bibek opened the scoring in 45+2nd minute while Skipper Rukesh doubled the lead in 49th minute.
In the second match Madhyapur Youth Association defeated Spark Hospital Bansbari Club 1-0.
Ronish Dheke Rajbahak scored the winner for Madhyapur Youth Association.
15 February 2019 - Bhuwan Basnet sealed a stunning late comeback as Satdobato Youth Club book second win in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘B’ Division League at the ANFA Complex.
Satdobato now have seven points from three matches. They had played a 1-1 draw against Divine Boys Union in their previous match.
Mani Kumar Rai (20’) opened the scoring for Jhamshikhel Youth Club but two goals in the second half from Prithivi Chaudhary (50’ P) and Bhuwan Basnet (86’) sparked scenes of celebration for Satdobato.
Likewise, Alon Rai scored the first hat-trick of the ongoing ‘B’ Division League as Tushal Youth Club swept Khumaltar Yuba Club with an emphatic 7-2 victory.
Alon Rai scored in the (45+4th, 73rd and 74th) minute of the match.
Manish Sedai scored two goals while Karan Rawat (59’) and Sashil Kumar Thapa (88’) scored a single to help give Tushal a 7-2 win over Khumaltar.
Sedai opened the scoring in the 16th minute and got his second in the 61st minute.
Sabin KC (53’) and Arun Shrestha (90’) netted for Khumaltar.
14 February 2019 - First half goal from Ram Kaji Kumal (9’) and Tika Raj Gurung (35’ P) helped Pulchowk Sports Club register a 2-1 victory over Madhyapur Youth Association while Shree Kumari stun RCT 4-2 to win their first match in the ongoing Martyr's Memorial 'B' Division League at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato.
Nepal U15 Skipper, Pradip Lamsal reduced the arrears in the 52nd minute with a clinical free-kick but MYA were unable to force an equalizer.
Pulchowk Sports now have six points from two matches.
In the other kick off, Shree Kumari Club got off to the worst start, tamely allowing RCT to race into a two-goal lead through Sansar Nanda Palanchoke (9’) and Unam Budathoki (17’).
Having staged a dramatic comeback to beat RCT, Sujan Maharjan scored a brace while Ganesh Baduwal and Bishal Tamang netted one each for Shree Kumari Club.
Sujan Maharjan cleverly halved the deficit in 34th minute; firing the ball inside opponents post after beating three defenders.
Maharjan himself grabbed a 3-2 lead for Shree Kumari in the 57th minute. They had duly leveled shortly two minutes before through Ganesh Baduwal.
Bishal Tamang confirmed the win for Shree Kumari as he finds his volley kissing the net in the 88th minute.
