ANFA community course begins in Dhankuta

A three day community course organised by All Nepal Football Association has begun in Dhankuta district. 

Mayor of Dhankuta municipality Chintan Tamang who was the chief guest in the opening session on Thursday. 

Thirty-two participants are taking party the course. The course is being instructed by Head of Coach Education Sanjit Singh with assist from Bhagwati Rana Magar. 

The course will conclude on Sunday.

U-20 preliminary squad for U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers announced

U-20 national team head coach Meghraj KC has announced a 25-member preliminary squad for the upcoming U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers in Bahrain.

Coach KC announced the squad on Wednesday. The team has been training for the tournament at ANFA Complex in Satdobato for the tournament.

The national U-20 side has been drawn alongside Qatar, Bahrain, Bangladesh and Bhutan in the Qualifiers to be held from September 10 to 18.

Nepal will play its first match against Bhutan on September 10 and second match against Qatar on September 12. The third match will be against Bahrain on September 14 and fourth against Bangladesh on September 18.

Various committees formed for SAFF Women's Championship

The Main Organizing Committee led by ANFA Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka has formed various committees for the upcoming SAFF Women's Championship to be held in Nepal.

A meeting of the organizing committee on Tuesday at ANFA Complex also appointed coordinators to each committees.

ANFA has already appointed Rabindra Chand as the Venue Manager and Vijay Ghale as the Local General Coordinator for the tournament. Similarly, Dinesh Byanjankar will be the Head of Security and Sanjeeb Silpakar will coordinate the committee for marketing, broadcasting and digital rights of the regional competition.

The meeting also decided to re-invite tender for ticketing rights to the competition with a minimum amount of NRs 2.5 million.

Nepal is organizing the SAFF Women's Championship from September 6-19, 2022 in Kathmandu.

Yugal Kishor Rai assistant coach, Binod Dangol GK coach for Bangladesh friendly

Yugal Kishor Rai has been appointed as the Assistant Coach for the upcoming friendly match against Bangladesh on September 27 in Kathmandu.

Similarly, Binod Dangol has been appointed as the goalkeeping coach for the friendly.

The two appointments have been made on Monday.

Nepal is playing the international friendly on home soil against Bangladesh.

Pradeep Humagain will be the head coach for the friendly. He was appointed by the executive committee meeting on Thursday (August 11).
